About Me
I became a freelance web designer in 2007 at the end of my time studying Interactive Multimedia Design at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Designing and developing usable, accessible and good looking websites has since become my passion. One of the advantages you'll have in hiring a freelancer like myself is that I can offer a very cost-effective, no-nonsense (or jargon!) fast, friendly service which enables you to quickly and easily have your business enjoying the benefits of worldwide exposure. My skillset includes (X)HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Flash, Director, Illustrator, Javascript, PHP and Content Management Systems.
When I'm not developing web sites, I spend my time playing football in Dublin, listening to music, watching movies and generally enjoying life! I love travelling and have recently visited Italy, USA, Spain, France and Portugal. In the future, I plan on visitng more of America and also Australia, New Zealand and Figi.
Technical Expertise
I build all websites from scratch, to make sure they're functional and accesible to all users. This also enables full custimisation and control, which benefits both the client and the end-user.
I use validated XHTML Strict/Traditional 1.0 for content and validated CSS 2.0 for styling. For design and preliminary layouts Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are the tools used. When content management systems are needed, I alternate with Modx, Joomla and Mambo.
